About Me
Since being a child I have been interested in photography. I bought my first serious camera in my teens in the 1970's, an Olympus OM10 film camera. I've now thoroughly embraced the digital age and mainly use a couple of Nikon DSLR's.
Photography is more than a hobby for me it's a passion.
I love to take photographs and to travel, so travel photography was the obvious way to go.
I also like candid or street photography, a cross between voyeurism and documentary styles of photography which needs to be captured quickly before it passes.
And of course there is portrait, fine art and figure photography which is usually taken much more slowly and deliberately to frame and light the perfect shot.
I work in both colour and black and white depending on what I feel the moment I am about to capture calls for.
